The bishop

The bishop moves along slanting (diagonal) lines.

Look at the board: the bishop can move to all squares that have a plus in it.
In one move, a bishop can cross the whole board.
But a bishop can’t jump over other pieces.

There are two bishops.
One bishop moves on the white squares.
The other bishop moves on the black squares.
Bishops always stay on the same color square that they started on.

Can you tell why a bishop is called a bishop?

The top of the piece is shaped like a bishop’s hat.

What do you have to do?
First, move the bishop to collect all the coins.
Then, go to the flag and take that.
